If a user has forgotten their password, and they are requesting assistance to reset their password. Any user that has the "Manage Users" permission can force a password reset.
To reset another users password, follow the steps below:
- Select "Settings", then select "Users."
- Select the name of the user that needs the password reset to open the "User Details" screen.
- Users that have not verified their email will have a "Force password reset" checkbox. To force a password reset, enter a temporary password in the "Password*" and the "Verify Password" fields, select the checkbox next to "Force password reset", and select "Save."
- Users that have verified their email will have a "Send password reset" checkbox, select this checkbox, and select "Save."
The user selected will now enter the temporary password, and will then be required to update their password upon logging in (not verified), or they will receive an email with a link to reset their password.
