Adjusting macOS Keyboard Settings for Tab Key

  1. Apple Menu -> System Preferences -> Keyboard & Mouse -> Keyboard Shortcuts
  2. Change the radio button at the bottom from "Text boxes and lists only" to "All controls" (control and F7 will change it on the fly, as well).
