If you need to update your BestNotes payment information you can do that by following the steps outlined in this document.

Permissions required

In order to access this information, you need to have the "System Administrator" checkbox.

 Warning:   If you have a locked account, you will need to login with the "Sysadmin" username.

Navigate to Account Information

  1. In your BestNotes, navigate to "Settings" and "Account Details."
  2. In the "Account Bill" section, select the "Update payment details" link.

Update payment information

  1. This will take you the screen where you will select the "Payment Method." This can be either "ACH Payment" or "Credit Card." This screen will default to the "ACH Payment."
  2. Make sure that the "Company Name" and the "Company Phone" is entered in, and correct.
  3. Select the "Account Type," of "Checking" or "Savings," and enter in the required information. 
  4. You can choose to enter in an email to update where the payment receipts will be sent, but this is not required.
  5. Then select "Submit."
  6. This process is the same for the "Credit Card" option, except you will enter in your credit card information instead of your banking information.

Update Automatic Billing Authorization

 Caution:   This is an alternative method that can be used if you are unable to access the BestNotes "Account Details," and should not be used unless absolutely necessary. If you were able to complete the steps above, you do not need to follow the steps below unless directed otherwise by BestNotes staff.
  1. Navigate to www.bestnotes.com.
  2. Hover over the"Support" tab in the top menu and select the "Account Management" option. 

This will take you to the"Automatic Billing Authorization" portal login screen.

  1. To log in, type in the "User ID (email)" and "Password" used to subscribe to BestNotes. If you are unsure what your login information is, or if you don't have any, you can create a new account on the right hand side. 
  2. Select the "Automatic Billing Authorization" application below the "Update Financial Details" header.
  3. Fill out each page, and select "Save & Continue" at the bottom until you reach the "Review" page.
  4. On the "Review" page, you can select "Print a copy for my records" if you would like a copy, and then select "Submit Form."
