Initiating Your DrFirst Subscription
Navigation
- Select "Settings" in the bottom left corner, then select "Account Details."
- In the "Account Integrations" section, select "DrFirst."
Note: If there is a checkmark next to the feature, you are already subscribed.


How to Sign Up
- Review the information in the "Subscription Information" section. Once you understand the requirements and have the information necessary to begin the subscription process, select "Subscribe to DrFirst."
- If you have Facilities entered into your database, you can choose one from the "Facility" drop-down. Otherwise, enter the Practice Address and Phone number. This information is required in order to move forward.


- Next, you will designate your DrFirst Practice Administrator User. This user cannot be a provider or have an NPI. This drop-down will include users that have verified email addresses, and do not have an NPI listed.
- Now you can select your "Initial User" from the "Add Initial Users" drop-down. This drop-down will include users who have a verified email.


- Select the "Role" of the user. They can only be a Provider or a Clinical user, but not both.
- If you select "Clinical", you will not need to provide any additional information, and you can select "Add."


- If you select "Provider", and that provider will be e-prescribing controlled substances, select "Yes" for "E-Prescribing of Controlled Substances."
- Any information that is in the User Details will be pulled into the appropriate fields here. Add any additional information that is needed.
- Provider users that will not be e-prescribing controlled substances will require:
- Degree/Suffix

- NPI
- State Lic #
- State licensed in
- Primary Specialty
- Provider users that will not be e-prescribing controlled substances will require:
- Provider users that will be e-prescribing controlled substances will also require:
- DEA Number

- Address
- City
- State
- Zip Code
- Once you have all the necessary information, select "Add."


- If you are adding a provider user, you will receive a message alerting you to the annual fee that will be charged to your payment method on file. Select "OK" to continue.
- Repeat these steps as necessary for the users you would like to add.

- You will see the users you have selected on the right side.
- Once you have added all of your users, select "Subscribe."


- The DrFirst BestNotes Agreement will open. Review the agreement, and select the checkbox at the bottom to add your digital signature to the agreement.
- You can then download a copy of the agreement for your records by selecting "Download as PDF."


- Then select "Continue."
- Your DrFirst subscription has been submitted successfully! Once we process the associated fees you will receive an email with further instruction.
