Setting Up CollaborateMD Billing Integration

Roles and Responsibilities

To ensure a smooth experience, roles are defined as follows:
  • BestNotes Role: We will establish the API connection, perform initial testing with the billing service representative, and ensure technical stability. We provide initial workflow training for your Billing Services main point of contact.
  • Billing Services Role: Your Billing Services main point of contact will then be responsible for onboarding and providing day-to-day CollaborateMD support for individual users.

Requirements and Setup Process

A representative from the Billing Services account must initiate this connection. To proceed, please complete the following steps:
  1. Ensure the CollaborateMD account (the Billing Services account) is prepared to be billed for the API connection.
  2. Ensure your primary BestNotes Billing Services account has current payment details on file before activation.

    Settings > Account Details > Click "Update Payment Details" link

  3. Create a support ticket by contacting submit a support ticket with the CollaborateMD account number(s) for any BestNotes accounts you would like to activate. To inactivate a connection, contact submit a support ticket with the account number you would like to inactivate.
  4. Once we receive your request, BestNotes will reply with a scheduling link to test the API connection. Please allow 2-3 business days to activate the API connection.
