The Summary tab is the at-a-glance overview for one client — a customizable grid of cards covering key stats, alerts, suicide risk, recent surveys, program enrollments, and survey trend charts. It uses the same card layout system as the Dashboard.

Level 1+

Opening the Client summary

Open a client from the Clients list and you land on the Summary tab. It's available at access level 1 and above. The page is a stack of cards; which cards appear, and in what order, is controlled by your card layout (see Customizing which cards show below).

Reading the Summary stats card

The Summary card shows three key numbers for the client:

  • Alerts — the total alert count, broken down into Active, and (when present) Cleared and History. The value is highlighted when there are active alerts.
  • Weeks in Care — how long the client has been in care, or a dash when unknown.
  • Surveys Completed — the client's survey completion rate as a percentage, colour-graded (high at 80%+, mid at 50%+). Pending, expired, and skipped surveys all count as assigned-but-not-completed here; dismissed ones are left out entirely, as though they had never been assigned.

Viewing contact info and related contacts

The contact card is headed with the client's name and lists their key fields: DOB, DOA, DOD, Diagnosis (as chips, with the primary diagnosis starred), and any phone, email, and primary care contact on file. Up to two related contacts (family, caregivers, emergency contacts) appear below; use Show more to reveal the rest.

At access level 4 and above, the card title and its open button link to the client's Detail tab. Below level 4 the card is read-only and shows no link.

Checking suicide risk

The Suicide Risk card shows a severity gauge and, when there is risk data, the source: the message, date, originating survey, the question, and the client's response. A status chip (New, Active, Cleared, or History) sits in the card header. Use the View survey button next to the survey to open that completed survey for review.

Reviewing active alerts

The Alerts card lists the client's alerts, each with a status chip, date, a short message, and the survey that raised it. A coloured severity border flags high, medium, and low severity. Click an alert row to open the full alert, where you can acknowledge, comment, or clear it (subject to your access level).

Reviewing recent surveys and scores

The Recent Surveys card is a compact table with three columns — Survey, Score, and Date. Rows are colour-flagged by alert severity. Click a row to open that survey for review. View More jumps to the client's Surveys list filtered to completed surveys, and the card title opens the Surveys tab.

Seeing program enrollments

The Programs card lists the client's program enrollments, active ones first. Each row shows an Active or Discharged chip, the program label and description, the episode number (when greater than one), any diagnosis chips, and admit/discharge dates. On multi-facility accounts a facility chip is shown per enrollment. At access level 4+, the card title opens the client's Clinical tab.

Reading survey trend charts

Below the cards, the page renders one trend chart per survey the client is subscribed to, plotting scores over time.

  • When a survey has more than one respondent, a respondent selector in the card header switches whose responses are charted.
  • Use the expand button to open the full chart. There you can switch the chart type (Line, Step, Bar, Scatter) and toggle the overall Score and Subscales series.
  • Clicking a point on the chart's date axis opens that survey instance for review.

Customizing which cards show

You choose which cards appear on the Summary page and their order from My Account → Customize Cards (the Client Summary layout). This is the same card-layout system used on the Dashboard.

If your administrator has locked the Client Summary layout for the account, you'll see the locked layout instead and the customize option won't apply.
