This article explains how to send emails to the BestNotes Q-Log, allowing them to be attached to a client's Activity Log for easy reference.

Adding Emails to the Q-Log

Emails can be added to a contact's Activity Log, allowing them to be referenced within BestNotes alongside all other logged data.

To send an email to the Q-Log, each user with Q-Log access can find their unique Q-Log Email Address under the Settings tab. Copy this address and add it to your email client to upload emails to BestNotes and attach them to the relevant client.

NOTE: Carbon Copy (CC) and Blind Carbon Copy (BCC) email addresses will not display on the Q-Log Message, but the email will still be sent to those recipients.

Once the desired document has been emailed to the Q-Log, follow these steps to attach it to a client's activity log:

  1. Click on the Update button.

  1. Add the client's name to the Log to box in the upper right-hand corner.
  2. Then click Send.
  3. The system will ask to continue even though no participants have been selected; click Yes.

The email will now be visible in the client's activity log.
