This article outlines the necessary permissions and steps to enable users to create Group Notes within BestNotes.

Permissions Required

  • Create Group Notes
  • System Administrator access

Setting Permissions to Create Group Notes

  1. Click Settings -> Users -> Permissions. Within the Clinical subsection, you will find the relevant permissions.
  2. Click on the permission Create Group Notes for all staff who need to create Group Notes.

  1. Then, the System Administrator needs to log in and set up the User Groups.

  1. Add all users to that group who need to create Group Notes.
  2. Once the User Groups are created, click on Group Notes -> Admin to assign which User Groups can write that type of Group Note.
