Understanding the General Log

General Log Definition

All activity in your company's BestNotes Database.

General Log View

BestNotes will retrieve the first 50 documents on page 1. To move to the next 50 records, click to page 2, and these steps are repeated for the next set of 50.

Based on permissions (Access Tags / Groups), one of these two scenarios will happen:

  • If the document is associated with a contact, whom the user does not have access to, that note will not display.
  • If the user does have access to the contact:
    • The note title, date, user who created it will display.
    • The group restrictions on that document type will display.
