Is BestNotes my billing company?

  • No, your company is responsible for:
    • Contacting Payers
    • Updating information that caused the claim to fail in the billing software OR returning to BestNotes to void the ledger, enter a new ledger, and submitting the claim again.
    • etc.
  • BestNotes only provides - 
    • The tools (software) for a user in your company to process billing to a Claims software partner.
    • The training and support to use BestNotes features and NOT any Claims software.

How does a user manage claims?

  • Each contact has a claims manager OR a billing user who can process all claims (for more information, Click HERE).
  • Also, a billing user can access Reports.
