BestNotes uses an exchange service called Accumen Technology Solutions to normalize and manage lab communication between your lab company and BestNotes. BestNotes is interfaced with Accumen, and Accumen is interfaced with each lab company.  

To begin an integration between your BestNotes account and your preferred Lab partner, click to complete Accumen's Interface Request Form. Be sure to fully and accurately complete this form to avoid delays or interruptions. Once BestNotes has integrated with Accumen, your Implementer will notify you and provide training references and materials.

  • Accumen Technology Solutions will discuss payment with your company for lab services. 
  • BestNotes does NOT charge any additional fee to interact with Accumen.
  • It may take several weeks for Accumen to reply to BestNotes for final integration.

Each provider must have their Provider NPI entered in the Provider Details section of their User Details:



For the best experience, it is recommended to add any Insurance Payers your practice may associate with in your account Settings. Adding these payers will allow your client-specific payer information to import into your lab order upon creation. For more information, Click HERE.
